Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that the uniformly distributed
live load for churches, courtrooms, lecture halls and theatres with fixed
seats, for classrooms, where people are typically distributed uniformly over
the floor area, and for roof areas that are designed for the minimum 1.0
kPa loading stated in Table 4.1.5.3., will be reduced where
there is an increase in the tributary area of floor or roof, which could lead
to the excessive deflection or excessive vibration of structural elements,
which could lead to negative effects on the psychological well-being of persons.
