To limit the probability that gas and fumes will migrate from a garage into a dwelling unit, which could lead to the accumulation of gas and fumes to levels that pose a risk to human health from short-term exposure, which could lead to harm to persons.
To expand the application of Subsection 9.25.3., more specifically Articles 9.25.3.2. and 9.25.3.3., to air barrier systems between dwelling units and suites containing a repair garage.
