To limit the probability that gas and fumes will migrate from a garage into a dwelling unit, which could lead to the accumulation of gas and fumes, which could lead to their subsequent ignition from a nearby ignition source, which could lead to a fire or explosion, which could lead to harm to persons.
To expand the application of Subsection 9.25.3., more specifically Articles 9.25.3.2. and 9.25.3.3., to air barrier systems between dwelling units and suites containing a repair garage.
