To override the requirement for a flame-spread rating of not more than 25 in Clause 6.3.4.4.(2)(b) and to permit a higher flame-spread rating if an automatic fire suppression system is provided.
This is to limit the probability that a fire in the power-ventilated enclosure and exhaust duct system will spread to other parts of the building, which could lead to harm to persons.
