Sentence 3.3.4.2.(1)

Intent 1:

To limit the probability that fire will spread from one suite to another suite, or to another part of the building, which could lead to damage to the building.

Intent 2:

To limit the probability that fire will spread from a suite to a corridor serving suites, which could lead to fire emergency response operations being delayed or ineffective, which could lead to the further spread of fire, which could lead to damage to the building.

Intent 3:

To supersede the requirements for fire separations of suites and public corridors in Articles 3.3.1.1. and 3.3.1.4.
