To limit the probability that fire will spread from an individual tenancy to other parts of the building, which could lead to harm to persons in the other parts of the building.

Intent 2:

To supersede the requirements for fire separations of suites and public corridors in Articles 3.3.1.1. and 3.3.1.4.
