To limit the probability that the dynamic structural
effect of dynamic forces from machinery and equipment will not be
taken into account in the design of the supporting structure, which
could lead to:
- excessive stress in structural elements, which could
lead to damage to the building, or
- excessive vibration of structural elements, which could
impede the intended use and occupancy of the building.
