the structure will not be considered, which could lead to:
- the excessive deformation of, or excessive stress in,
structural elements, which could lead to damage to the building, or
- the excessive deflection or excessive vibration of structural
elements, which could impede the intended use and occupancy of the
building.
Intent 2:
To limit the probability that the increased wind
exposed area due to ice accretion will not be considered or that it
will be determined by an inappropriate method, which could lead to:
- the excessive deformation of, or excessive stress in,
structural elements, which could lead to damage to the building, or
- the excessive deflection or excessive vibration of structural
elements, which could impede the intended use and occupancy of the
building.
